Tires are warrantied by the Tire manufacturer and not the Automaker. Only thing I know of on a car that isn't warrantied by the Automaker.
My Yokohama Geolanders were shot by 16000 kilometers. But in thier defense I drive my car REAL hard. I probably could have gotten another 6000 kms out of them if I really needed to but I took a screw in the sidewall that couldn't be fixed and there was no way in HELL I was gonna PAY for a replacement Geolander.
I replaced them with Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s and couldn't be happier for the price I paid. Better tires out there, likely, but not at the price you can get these for.
