cargo cover?

Hi,

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a 2010 V6 GV, the only complication is I'm buying this car online so have had to send someone else to inspect it in my place!
The pictures I got sent look good, but I'm unsure of this one:

Is that the regular cargo cover for a GV? I thought they had a flat part on top. But it's not so easy to tell from this picture, so I was wondering whether any of you GV owners could chime in?

Thanks! :)

Yes, I've got an '09 GV, with the same cargo cover, so doesn't look as though it changed. It is actually flat on top, but there is a fold down the middle (lengthways) so the front lip of the cover can fold back over itself (to allow small items you want in the boot which are higher than the cargo cover).
I couldn't see any great pictures of this on google, but the below is of the same cargo cover with the front lip laying flat (not folded back)

That's the standard cover alright. In the pic you posted the cover is just folded back on itself and the canvas parts are unclipped from the back of the seats (the bits you see hanging down) . Just get your friend to check that the clips are not broken. The flexible canvass leader is needed so that the rear seats can recline.

I had one and sold it. It was a pain to me.

Maybe if I had stuff in my vehicle that was exposed to prying eyes, I guess. ;)

I even paid big money for one when I bought my van before that, and never used it.

I have mine but the "canvas" part is partially torn and it isn't in the vehicle right now. It dresses up the luggage compartment some but is a hassle loading and unloading and if you need to flip the seats up to carry something you have to remove it. Overall I am glad to have it but it isn't a huge benefit.
