Question 07 XL7 Engine Noise - HELP

Hey guys,

I have a 07 XL7 in the shop with a 3.6L,

I have these codes:

P0300
P0017
P0016
P0008
P0301
P0305
P0303
P0024
P0016
P0300
P0014

I have been reading about the timing chain stuff on these, but I don't see anyone talking about engine noise, this one came in with a VERY bad ticking / knocking sound in the valve train area, is were it sounds like it, it DOES start, but does not really have any power.

Are these engines interference engines?

What do you guys think?

there is a good chance the chain has jumped at least one tooth.
when they hit. the damage is bad.
the last one i did broke all the rocker arms on one of the cams, needle bearings ended up everywhere in the engine..

start with compression and leakdown. if you can get the cam lock tools, see if they'll fit on both sets of cams at the same time, that will give you an idea of where things are..

I did a compression check:

Cyl. Head by the Radeator was 1. 150 2. 140 3. 150

Cly head by the firewall was 1.240 2. 240 3. 240

What do you guys think?

The powertrain warranty on these in the US IIRC is 7yrs 100k miles
It may be in your best interest to send this to a dealer..
