Default 2008 suzuki xl7 paint issues

I have a 2008 SUZUKI XL7 that is having major paint issues. the PAINT IS PEELING OFF IN SHEETS!!! to the PRIMER from below the roof rail and above the back doors to the rear quarter panel on BOTH SIDES of the car. I notified SUZUKI ...months prior to the END OF THE WARRANTY... They delayed having the SUZUKI REP review the car... until the care was just out of WARRANTY and then said that it wasn't their problem....amazing....NOW WONDER SUZUKI CAN'T STAY IN BUSINESS IN THE STATES..THEY AVOID HONORING THEIR WARRANTY AT ALL COSTS

If you have time on your hands and are bored. You can strategically park it outside or near their dealership and anyone that asks you just tell them.

I have seen photos of Ford Falcons being parked outside a Ford dealership with lists of issues that the dealer won't honour within the warranty period.

Though you may not have to write out your situation "on" your car and the lack of text may be easier for you to avoid legal involvement.

Though this is only an action of revenge. A lawyer might be the best route.

Default Paint Problems with 2008 XL7

From looking at the above pictures, it seems that it may be problem with this particular color paint. I also have the "pearl" XL7 and it is peeling in the exact same location!

We are having the same thing happen to our 2008 XL7. It is pearl white as well. It has started to peel just above the third brake light on the hatch. It has 56,000 miles and out of warranty. I contacted the nearest Suzuki dealership which is 120 miles away and sent them photographs of the peeling. They contacted the regional manager and they agreed to pay 75% of the repair. I think we are going to get it repaired and then get rid of it as I am affraid the rest will start to peel as well and I will be stuck with a rusted POS.

As much as this car was new I figured the paint should last until I got it paid for. I hate that too becasue we really like the car.

I have a couple of pictures I can share. Of course it has gotten worse since these pictures were taken.
