It is looking more and more like a factory defect that if we could get enoough people to complain on this it would be taken care of 100%. It is no coinceidence that these models with pearl white are peeling in the same exact spot at the same exact time.
We plan on getting rid of it after the paint job because i am sure it will start to peel else where and will cost a fortune to fix. We will keep it if Suzuki makes it right by fixing the underlying problem.

The dealership that is helping you... is it the same dealership that you purchased your XL7 from?
The one we bought ours from went out of business within the first year after we bought it and since then we've had to deal with the only Suzuki dealer in our area, Big Red Sports & Imports, which is a sorry excuse for a dealership. They obviously don't care whether they keep our business or not, so we won't be dealing with them any longer.
