headrest DVD not working

ok so when i bought my 08 XL7 it had headrest dvd system now the dealer is closed and the driver side has quit working.

there is a dealer in town that took over the servise for suzuki and now they are telling me that the DVD plaryers are not corved under the 3yr/36k since it was a dealer install and not a factory install. the company invision that makes the dvd system has a warranty the covers 3yrs/36k Rear Seat Entertainment - INViSiON Industries but they deal with dealers only.

any advise

OEM DVD player hangs from the roof not the headrest. Try calling invision and explain your situation or Try finding an invision dealer (if that's the one you have) and see if they can help you.

well i have called and they will not deal with me it has to be a dealer.

as a matter of fact i had to give the dealer the info on the DVD players.

they had the SUV all day with no answer from invision.
the the dealer told me they they tried to call invision many times and left voice mail many times and they were told that it could be a week before they get a call back. well being me and who i am that is not a good answer so i called invision again my self got them on the phone the 1st ring asked if they could hold for a min while i got the dealer on the phone they said sure no problem so they talked and invision said they needed to contact the dealer direct so we hung up. so i now ask my self did the dealer really call invision or not. well that pi$$ed me off but here is the kicker.

getting close to the end of the day and no call back from the CS lady at the dealer so about 4:30 or so i call the dealer and asked to talk the the CS lady and i was then told that she left early today. so here i am not knowing what the HE-- was going on so the lady that picked up the phone called the cs lady and asked what is going on and that is when i was told that they do not know what is going on or what they are going to do about that her an the manger have to call invision back tomorrow and that if i wanted to come and get the XL7 i could so i say ok i will be there soon and what is the mangers name she tells me and we hang up. well the phone rings 5min later sir the manager just left and will not be here when you get here.

i can take alot of crap but BS is not one of them. that just makes the grass green.
