Wink Class III Hitch vs Warranty

Does anyone know if installing a CLASS III hitch will void the 100K drivetrain warranty? I currently have 20" rims and have taken into dealer for a couple of tweeks. Never seen so much pointing, grunting, huddling, groping, fondling, blank stares, and excuses flying because of the "20" aren't stock......." I can just imagining what would happen if I take it in with drivetrain issues with a 5000# hitch installed........ Considering going back to a 17" or 18" rim which brings up a question- What GM stock rims will fit the XL7? Thanks for any help, opinions, recommendations.

I am no expert but I think your experience will depend on the dealer and the type of warranty problem you want fixed.

If the dealer wants to make it a problem, it will probably be a problem.

Just take the hitch off if you have any tranny problems and are worried about the dealer not warranting the work.
