Default enjoying XL7 too much

Hi everyone
A quick hello. I purchased a 2008 XL7 about 2 months ago and straight away came looking for a forum to see if everyone loved the car as much as I do. it's just everytime I went to join and post here to say hello , I just went for a drive instead .I hate to sound too simple but boy this is the nicest car I have driven/owned.
I do have a few questions, but just for now I wanted to introduce myself and say hello.
Cheers
Tony

I borrowed a small VW Polo while my XL7 was at the dealer, and you really get to appreciate it more after you drive something else for a few days. jeje

Welcome... my wife loves hers and has only had it for a couple of months as well. I've already managed to outfit it with a trailer hitch and XM Radio (to the factory unit). Not sure if I will be doing anything else to it or not.

I've only had my XL7 for about a 2 weeks and I'm enjoying it. I had a 2004 Chrysler Sebring..4 cylinder..It could barely make it up a hill. So this car is definitely an improvement. Also i have 2 dogs and a kid on the way so I needed the extra room. I didn't want an explorer or huge SUV...so i bought the XL7. Doesn't look too manly, but i think ima make some tweeks to it to spruce it up a bit.

Its funny how the XL7 is bashed by almost every self proclaimed "automotive reviewer" because it's not as luxurious as X or doesn't have the materials quality of Y but almost every owner is very happy with it and can't believe he/she has gotten so much for so little.

Default Love my XL7 so far

I don't get the 'manly' thing!!! I just picked mine up on Friday night, I am happy with the SUV very much. It is peppy enough, handles great, has loads of room. I have the luxury model, all the bells and whistles of most higher end SUVs for a fraction of the cost. Ok, it is not an X5, XC90, or MDX but it is also about half the cost and still has heated seats, good sound, leather (albeit not the highest quality), loads of storage, nice dash and center console with hidden features and holders. I for one have no problems feeling manly enough driving it. If I wanted a gas guzzling 4x4 tank I would have bought one.
