Anyone have issues with the cloth seats getting black water marks?

I have an 07 AWd XL7 with cloth seats, on each seat where the rain would be able to hit the seats upon getting in and out. It has turned to black water spots. I tried cleaning them to no avail and Suzuki says just wear and tear. Tan seats turning black is not wear and tear that I've ever seen. It's on the edges of the front seat and almost all the way across the back seat from the kids sliding across getting to the middle.

Typical - The XL7 is built by GM and this is somewhat typical from what I've seen with GM vehicles... I have an 08 with a grey interior and had my seats cleaned by a detail shop- they look like new... (now scotchgaurd time)...
