the wiring is still sloppy cuz i've been messing with the line converter. but you get the basic idea. I've decided, within the last hour, say the hell with steering wheel controls and put in an aftermarket head unit. I just dont think i'll ever get what i'm looking for without pre-amp outputs. So i'll clean up the wiring wheni get one.

anyways the wiring is: 4 gauge power. I got the power fused at the battery and right before the amp. I have the remote lead tapped into the sunroof fuse, this will obviously change when i put in the new HU. The amp is a Power Acoustik GOTHIC OV2-1600. the speakers are Kenwoods dont remember which series. I mounted the amp to a covered board then to the box cuz if i need to remove the amp for whatever reason i didnt want open holes in the box. The boxes are screwed, glued and silicone sealed. A lot of people take for granted a box. The quality of the box effects the sound big time and an improperly sealed box will sound like crap. That's why i always build my boxes and never buy a pre-made, plus you cant get a good custom fit with a pre-made.

I have another Power Acoustik amp, a smaller one, i'm going to mount to the other box when i get around to replacing all the factory door speakers with aftermarkets. But that won't be anytime soon. So that's what i've got done so far. I'll try and answer any questions if there are anymore.

I cant find a spot to run my amp's power cable through the firewall. Anyone know of a spot?

right in the middle theres a large rubber grommet with i beleive 1 cable running through it. i went right through there. is down about a foot and a half from the top. i pushed the wire from the inside out. then grabbed it and pulled it through.
