New Owner

After months of research and shopping my wife and I picked up a 2008 XL7 Luxury AWD. Ours is the Pearl White color which I think really makes this car look like it costs more than one would think. With the amount of these things coming on the market as former rental vehicles the deals are hard to pass up. I was able to get mine with just over 6K miles for a little over $15,000. I've had more friends ask about this vehicle and about the incredible price that I'm working with some of them to find them one. The amount of bells and whistles you get is great and my wife is happy with the safety rating for our kids. I kind of like the fact that there are not a lot of these on the road but if people discover the value for the price we just might see a bunch more on the road.

Welcome and congrats on your purchase. Sounds like you got a great deal! My grandparents bought one from me similar to yours for about the same price and they love theirs. Where did you purchase yours from?

Picked it up at a VW dealer here in Minneapolis. They wanted to move some inventory so I guess they were willing to deal. There are few more around here in the same price range if your willing to work hard to make a deal. Seems the Pearl White is more sought after and the other local dealers with one were not as flexible as they were with other colors. Anyway I really researched this vehicle for months and watched the inventory of dealers within 500 miles of me and knew now was a good time to purchase. Great vehicle so far.
