Hey i have the new XL7 and i was wondering if theres an aftermarket fog light option for this car..... even OEM options are fine... i asked a suzuki dealer and they told me fog lights separately are not avail yet... Anyone have info on that? Thanks
hmm... yea that should be them... but now i have to check if i have the sockets for that harness to plug into...
I'm wondering why the dealer said they weren't avail.... weird...
If you don't have original fog lamps, then you don't have the wiring. If you buy the originals, the dealer must program your vehicle to recognize them, or they won't turn on. I work at a Suzuki Distributor and this has been done before.

Wow... sounds like more work than it should be..... weird that it has to be PROGRAMMED into the system... i thought if you get the bundle of wires that hooks up to the bundle from the fog lights... you're up and running. Maybe its just easier to buy the fogs and make your own switch and your own wires....thats what i did on my other car an older vw. Just a rocker switch and thats it...
Remember that this vehicle is based on a GM platform, and so are the electricals. Everything must go through the ECM so the correct adjustments can be made. We borrowed the fog lamps & wiring from a factory installed vehicle & installed them in a non factory installed vehicle and had to load the program into the ECM so it would recognize it now had fog lamps so they will turn on. You're right, you're better off with aftermarkets.
Yea so i checked with suzuki while i was in the states. Each fog light is $290 has to be ordered. Wiring is $165 i think, and a fog light relay is $60......
So damn... thats one expensive upgrade
You need to get his:
(2) 35500-78J00 Fog Lamps
36613-78J_ _ (10-30)W/remote start-N/remote start
and reprogram your BCM in order to work fine
good luck
