Default Steering Wheel Interface

Hi, I'm installing an aftermarket radio (Alpine IVA-W505) and I purchased the PAC SWI-JACK steering wheel interface so that I could keep the controls at the steering wheel. All I have to do is find the one cable that goes to the steering wheel. I went to the PAC website and the instructions are kind of vague. They say to connect the SWI-JACK to Pin 6 (Dk. Blue) of a BCM connector. They dont specify which is the right connector, I dont know if they mean a blue connector or blue pin cable, there is a blue connector on the BCM but it is different from the connector shown on the PAC website. There is also a green connector, which has a dark blue pin cable on the right spot it is said to be in on the website. In fact, it is the only connector with a Dk blue pin on such location. But Im still not sure, I dont want to tap the wrong one and cause damage. So if anyone has installed one of these, please help. I know user "tntks" installed one and I've writen to him already, but if anyone else can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I marked with a yellow dot the suspected Dk.Blue pin

I marked with a red dot where pin 6 is according to the PAC website, the blue connector does not look anything like the connector pictured in the website

Update.....I got an answer from the guys at PAC, the wire you're supposed to tap into is the dark blue wire on pin six of the green connector in the body control module (BCM). Ijust installed the interface and it works great, hardly any lag at all. Hope this helps anyone else....

Thanks. I'm having trouble removing the A/C controls completely. I see two connectors plugged in the right side after I remove pull out the A/C controls a little but I can't seem to unplug them. Do I need to remove the cup holders and empty glove compartment below the A/C controls?

you dont have to disconnect, just rotate out of the way, moving the shift knob to "D" makes this easier (remember to apply parking brake if you do this). check out this pic.

Thanks for the help. So, the control module is under the radio and behind where the blue arrow is pointing as shown in the below photo?

Thanks again.
