Heater & Remote Start?

When i use my remote start my heater never goes on. I can have the fan cranked up all the way, heat set on 85 and it blowing out floor and defrost.
Am i doing something wrong?

I think that's by design. You'll also find that the car eventually shuts down after a remote start--15 or 20 minutes or so. Thing is that if the engine is warm it won't take long to heat up the cabin when you get in and put the key in the ignition.

It will not start blowing air, until the engine comes up to operating temp.

Correct.

Better results of using remote start: set your AC to auto mode and do not come before it runs for 5 minutes.
