There is a big ESP OFF button on the dash of my daughters 2013 GV Premium. Nothing seems to happen when I push it - I tried pushing it while driving, while idling in park, while idling in drive with my foot on the brake, etc. What am I doing wrong?
How do you put it in 4wd? Mine is a 2011 Limited and that was a question when I was test driving, Salesman put it in 4hi and then the traction control would disable.

I think the 4WD is misleading on the Premium. I have no switches/levers to control 4WD in any shape or form. It's most likely just a full time AWD vehicle.
When i search for parts on my car on ebay etc, i can choose "Base" "Luxury" "Premium" "XSport" etc
Makes no sense to me.. All i know is that i got a Suzuki Grand Vitara 1.9 DDiS (Diesel) 2006
(sorry for stealing the thread)

Right now there are only 3 models, at least on the US - base, premium 4wd/rwd, and limited 4wd/rwd.
Base comes in manual transmission and RWD only. Premiums are AT only in either 4wd or rwd. Limited are also AT only, 4WD or RWD, with a bunch of extra features. Limited has the switch that controls 4wd mode and it has a spare tire mounted onto rear door.
I'm not sure of the hierarchy for the older models.
Thanks for clearing that up..
However, when i bougth my car, it said "Suzuki Grand Vitara 2006 Limited Edition", but i do have manual transmission. Maybe its different when its a older model

Its different with older years, and different options in different countries of course. Seems like yours is very nicely equipped for a 2006.
