It wasnt a factory option? It looks very clean, like it came from factory!

Every 2013 in the US has built in Garmin Infotainment system, which is pretty amazing. It has full featured navigation with map updates and traffic updates, bluetooh, USB that supports flash memory and apple devices, bluetooth phone support with touchscreen dialing, phonebook, etc, bluetooth audio streaming, pandora, and playback from SD card. Oh, and voice commands. I've been playing with this system for the last couple days, and it easily trumps navigation systems in much more expensive vehicles.

Well, I figured it out... Holding the button for about 20 seconds while driving shuts ESP off.

sounds about right...if its anything like the vehicles with the dial on the dash for the 4mode system it'll come back on when you travel over a certain speed and you'll have to press and hold the button again when stationary.

Lightbulb

So I ve got a question/thought regarding the ESP. This system is too intrusive for me, I especially do not care for how ESP reactivates at any speeds over 40km/h or so. Also, I'd like to be able to have a bit of fun with the vehicle during our winter months and this system intervenes far to early for my liking.
So I'm wondering, does anyone have any idea how I could go about disconnecting the system entirely? Is there a fuse I could pull, or something along those lines that would mechanically disable the system?
It's just a thought, but any input is appreciated.

There have been literally 1000s of words written about this in multiple posts in this forum over the years. Trying experimenting with the search function and see what you find.
