Default Back up camera in 2013 GV?

I just purchased a 2013 GV Premium AT 4WD for my daughter. Very happy with the truck, got everything she wanted, except a back up camera. Is there a way to buy either the OEM or an aftermarket camera and connect it to existing navigation system? Preferably aftermarket, because these can be had for $25ish.

There is a OEM kit to integrate a backup camera into the in-dash navi, it is a few hundred $ though. You might be able to integrate an aftermarket camera, but you will have to experiment a bit to find something that will work.

I do not, sorry.

There is a seller on eBay that seems to sell OEM Suzuki parts at a discount, I see his auction for the 2012-earlier navi kits all the time (use Grand Vitara Navigation as the search term), you could try contacting him.

One point, with American Suzuki exiting the US market accessory parts like this will disappear from inventory very soon. So if you decide to go this route do not delay.

Although expensive compared to the Chinese cameras, this is a complete kit that is designed to install in the GV and work correctly, with installation instruction and all required parts. So it's pricy, but will work the first time...also has a 1-year guaranty if purchased from an authorized Suzuki dealer. Good luck!

Thank you for your help. I will probably contact my dealer and see what they can do for me. So far I've decided to get several accessories - the camera kit, fog light kit, window visors and all weather floor mats.

Found it online, and just placed an order for some parts.

Back up camera
Window visors
Door moldings
Fog lights
All weather floor mats (front and rear)
Splash guards (front and rear)
Alarm system

Now I just have to find good set of front and real bull bars and the truck will be all set!

Just fitted mine. Mine came with factory clarion unit so it was easy to install.

Yeah works well. Don't mind to have guidance lines for reverse parking but that's just for inexperience people.

I only need it to make sure no kids or dogs are in the way when i reverse. If idid more research before i purchased the clarion camera, i would either try a cheap 30-50 buk ebay cam first. For a more expensive one, i should of chosen the Alpine camera instead because it offers 190degree viewing angle (Clarion only 130degree) - that way you could see the kerb as well when u do parking.
