Could be a number of things, but I'm not going to speculate wildly about all the potential issues a front end could have. From the symptoms you're describing, my first guess would be warping or uneven wear on the brake rotors.

Take the front wheels off and inspect your brakes. Minor warping is difficult to see with the naked eye. Easiest way to pick it is if you rotate the rotor and watch the clearance against the pads.

Also, while the wheels are off it's quite easy to remove the pads so you can visually check for any uneven wear signs, dirt etc. Occasionally you can have some chatter of the pads which can be fixed either by replacing them or applying some anti-squeal adhesive to the back of them (not the rotor facing side).

If you're not comfortable with investigating it yourself, or it's still doing it and there's nothing obvious you can see, then take it to a suspension / brake specialist for a safety check.

Looking at getting a set of theses side steps. Yours look like they fit very well. Where did you get these from?

Thanks DBO for the info. It does make noise from applying brakes in straightline - going 2-3kph and brake @ soft-to-medium it would make the same noise. Same noise appears when I accelerate while turning 45degrees to full lock and turning+going over drive ways. It's like low pitch of "croak-croak" noise. This noise dissappears at normal speed. Only slow + turning.

Any ideas? I have booked for Suzuki to check next Monday but I'm sure they will give me the "Oh it's normal" but i dont think it is. If there's something wrong, i want it fixed while it's still under warranty.

They're genuine suzuki side steps.

More on the suspension noise:

It became more apparent - it's definately something in the suspension. Managed get the noise a bit louder too - it happens to both sides of the suspension and happens more when i go over steeper driveways with more angle of the steering wheel. So only when there's downward force towards the front it would make the suspension compress then something rubs unpleasantly. Hence noise dont appear in u-turns or going speed faster than 20kph.

It sounds harsh and feels like something rubs in the suspension. It made a big "Cloak" noise today going on a steeper driveway - i can rule out CV and Brakes because it's nothing to do with that i'm pretty sure. If it is warped, i would feel it vibrate at 100kph on the freeway when braking. CV boots are like brand new and nothing seems compromising.

Now I have to find a way to explain this to Suzuki dealer...

DBO or anyone: Any ideas what it could be from the suspension point of view? I could get Suzuki to pay more attention to that first and they can rule out others in the process.

On the other news. got the nudge bar installed! Was pretty straight forward.

I suspected it was the rubbers on the front sway bar getting tight / dry and grabbing a bit. Might get under mine this arvo with a can of WD40 and see if that's a probability.

Ok Suzuki found the problem. They said it was the control arm bushes are worn but because they can't replace the bushes by itself so they ordered 2 new control arms for my car. All will be replaced under warranty so I'm happy.

I'm not sure how much that would cost without the warranty though.

Just fitted reverse camera. My HU is the factory option Clarion unit with navigation.

I got the original Clarion camera with only 130degree. But i could easily fit aftermarket ones, should of thought about it before getting this one.

Ok, Suzuki has fixed the noise issue as mentioned somewhere in this thread.
Replaced left and right lower control arms. The bushes didnt look too bad, still quite new but they suspect water got in it and became squeaky.

But since Suzuki can't just supply the bushes on its own, they just gave me whole new control arms for left and right. Now noise is all gone as mentioned previously, very very quite now. Very happy!
