Question Removing rear seats

2006 GV. Is there an easy way to remove the rear seats for temporary cargo hauling? I need more room that I get by just folding the seats up.

Thanks

Unfortunately, and amazingly, there is no easy way to remove them. (Hello Suzuki! You call it a sport UTILITY vehicle.) I have never removed ours, but some people here have.

So a search should turn up the info, or perhaps someone will post again.

I removed my seats (and haven't ever re-installed them...see my "set up for cargo" thread). It's not terribly difficult, just kinda awkward. The hardest thing is to remove the plastic pieces which cover the bolts...do a search on this site, there is a thread with pictures of the plastic pieces from the underside and an explanation of how to remove them without breaking them.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

Words are everything. I have searched all over for removing rear seat to no avail.

I will take a look at it. Thanks for the good information.
