Default LOW engine idle

NEED HELP!

Guys,

I was doing something which required me to disconnect the battery in my SGV. Upon reconnecting the battery back, realised that the engine idles at about 500-600 rpm. It causes the airconditioning compressor to be intermittently switching on and off, can feel the engine shrudder, and power steering to be a bit haevy...amongst other thing....but the engine will never stall.

I had ever disconnected the battery before but never this long and never had such issue.

What could be wrong and what is the possible solution?

Could it be possible that I had caused the ECU to reset itself, and all previous programs/setting had been deleted?

Any help will be HIGHLY APPRECIATED!

Best Regards!

I think mine did the same last time I had the battery off (when I cleared the check engine light..)

It went back to normal after a couple of drives.

See how you go after a bit of driving. The ECU may need to recalibrate itself?
