Can some member please confirm how much fuel is left in the tank when the warning light comes on. I got 2007 Vitara 2.0 petrol manual.

For our 2006 with the 2.7l v6, it is about 11-12 litres.

For my 2008 2.4l, it is about 14-15L for a 66L tank.

Amo, I have the 2.0 Manual petrol and have made it 50 miles once the light has come on. The fuel pointer was halfway down the 'E' so maybe a few more after that....

I wouldn't count on it from others.

Grab a jerry can, and run it empty, then you'll get a proper idea on how much YOU can get out of a tank, on the fuel YOU run it on.

I've been doing a lot on left over prediction through time with mine, and one day I ran out of fuel on the freeway, turned out that my wife had started putting fuel on from a different service station, and that just got me 50Km less on a tank.

Some petrol stations really sell dodgy petrol. I was really upset.

So, I would suggest to try it out in a safe way first, and get an idea on how it looks with your driving pattern and fuel quality.
