Also I have a set of OEM ballasts with ignitors and Philips d2s bulbs which are available for sale now.If anyone wants to get OEM stuff let me know.

Also I have custom made harness which will allow you to run your any HID kit\ballast along with the DRL. Plz lemme know if you need it.

Wow good work, but I have some questions.

1.- Do you have to make a hole where the ballast goes? Or is already made?
2.-The lid goes after the light comes into the set?
3.-the leveling headlights motor works on your vehicle?
4..- How much is the cost of that set??

Thanks for your answer

And where did you buy them? I'd be interested in getting a set for my sister's '06 GV. I haven't experienced anything shitty at ngiht then her headlights. My Acura TSX headlights don't even need to have the hi beams switched on most of the time lol!

1. No. The EDM (European) headlights go with the centre hole already made. Before I was sealed it with the scoutch tape, thats a reason why the hole is not clean.
2. Yes. Everything is watertight now. Also it is quite easy to replace the bulb if it will burn out.
3. No, I didnt buy them and didnt installed. There are few reasons why I didnt do that. First, it costs a little bit high if you take a whole set including harness and second, the sensor goes under rear suspension and for me it is quite tough to do it, so I just aimed lights properly at the dealer and thats it.
4. In total I spend $2.500 more less and 3 months waiting time.

Headlights I bought in Europe, HID ballast and hardware came in from Japan because they are less expensive over there, also I didnt want to have RHD (Japanse) headlights.

Next step is installation my tireless kit. Bumper is already painted and polished, and I gonna pick it up tomorrow and then will need to install the door shell and paint it. Thinking I`d be done till the end of July, because my body shop is quite booked right now, then - show time

FYI: the other OEM HID ballast and ignitors I have dont have rubber seals, so you will need to order it. They cost not so expensive, however you might live with out them.

Wow!!!!!!

$2,500 for the conversion??????

IF not for the DRL, it would almost be a "plug and play" affair. I only spent about US$300.....for the total full HID set up....comprising of main, high and foglight/floodlight.!!!!!

Ciao!

well, it is OEM vs afternarket, and OEM all the time costs much higher.

I am highly confident that the result of my aftermarket conversion IS as good as the OEM. The most common mistake which car owners made are;
1) using incorrect fittings (e.g putting in H3 bulb in a reflector designed for H7) ...different fitment have different "centre of light" !!!!!
2) not adjusting the light beam after the conversion or even after any bulb change.....causing dark spots and/or glare to other road users.
3) MOST people tend to believe that the kelvin ratings (which indicates the color tint) is indicating the brightness!!!!! Higher Kelvin (K) ratings mean darker light colors. Try not to go beyond 5000K or 5500K.

Ciao!

One more thing Latif ...
If you look at the pictures of the installed OEM housing you will notice that there is a black "patch" on the lower edge which is more easily visible on the high beam side as the HID bulb is on. That anti-reflective coating helps prevent you from dazzling the other road users ... it is not on the standard (halogen) version. The standard housing with the standard halogen bulb will produce a reflection from this part as well but as it is dimmer than an HID it is not as severe.

All, remember (as per Latif's point 2) that in doing an HID or any other light upgrade that there will be other people on the other side of that beam.
