Default Side steps/running boards for 06 GV

I recently enquired with Suzuki about the RRP of their running boards that are now available with the new models.

RRP = AU$1150 + fitting.

Stuff that!

Has anybody used aftermarket ones on their GV?

Kingsley seems to be the most common one when I google it. Around $630 from an online parts store.

TJM are another brand and they are around $900 fitted from memory when I called them up.

Does anybody else have any recommendations?

Cheers!

Isnt that the same running boards that were available all the time?

I have the Prestige version, and had the running boards fitted when I bought it back in 2006, looks just the same..

I wouldn't recommend these, they take away a lot of clearance..

but, I have had quite a few hits on rocks with these, and they seem strong enough for rock sliders :-)

Alternatively, get the proper side steps/ rock sliders from Rocky Road

I've got these ones fittedg7474.jpg

The black plastic treads come with them but you don't have to fit them (i never).I've had them for just over a year now and they've started to tarnish,i guess i'll have a bit of work ahead to bring them back to shinny again.P1010060.jpg

I do really love this one, available only in the UK (BWM style), still couldnt fide a way how to get them....

Also, for all members, I find a way how to cut price for JDM OEM running boards like mine. The new price is for 35% less now.

Oh sweet.

Sorry for my lack of replies, I have been sent to north west WA for work. Jeez its hot up here in the Pilbarra. Standing in the bottom of the open pits, it must be pushing nearly 50 degrees

1GV, whereabouts are you in Brisbane? Are those side steps powder coated in black?
