Pretty disapointing that you can't get the manual transmission with the 3.2L. I would seriously consider trading in my '07 JX for the 3.2 with better sound-proofing and better crash rating. I've bugged the Suzuki Canada rep at the annual car show for the last two years, saying that I bought a JX only because I couldn't get a JLX with a manual transmission. Now their moving even further in the wrong direction by removing the V6/Manual tranny option alltogether. You're not listening Suzuki!

I know what you mean, I prefer manual myself too. But you shouldn't underestimate Suzuki's automatic tranny, it's really good and there's nothing that you can do with manual but couldn't do with AT.

We probably could but the parts are extremely pricey, it's better to trade in your old car and get the new one instead.

I saw the 09 Suzi today! New rims and a facelift.

I was first in line for this 'conversion' from drum to rear disc , but sadly our local/regional distributor says that would void the drivetrain warranty, and would be a very expensive procedure.

Hi AGBL_PTY,

I am sure that the 2009 GV will be in your country soon. You may be able to have the new GV with the turn signal light on the side view mirrors. You can then order that item from your Suzuki dealer (even the new front grille and front bumper).

If that part is not available, I guess you can order it from the US.

Cheers,

GV real SUV
