New for 2009 Suzuki Escudo:
- Signal lights in the side mirrors.
- New alloy wheel designs: 2.4L/17"Wheels and 3.2L/18"Wheels.
- New digital A/C climate control panel.
- New driver information center in instrument panel.
- Two new engine options: 2.4L VVT I4 (166HP) and 3.2L V6 (224HP).
- Rear disc brakes.
- Active Cruise Control System.

Hi all,

linsjeffrey, thanks for the info on the 2009 Escudo/GV I noticed that the front grille looks similar to the SX4, and the front bumper fog light was redesigned.

IMHO, I still prefer the look of my current bumper

I also saw in the Suzuki Japan website the new accessories catalog, as well as the 2009 Escudo Helly Hansen Limited version, with new design wheels, front grille and bumper air dam lip.

- New digital climate control panel.

- Two new engine options: 2.4L VVT I4 16V and 3.2L VVT V6 24V.
- New metallic pearl colors - red, green and purple.
- New Rear disc brakes (no more disc/drum).
- Steering wheel audio controls
- Fog lamps
- All Leather models also get Smartkey, S/Roof, HID, Cruise Control & 6CD w/7.1 audio.
- ESP on some models

Engine Specs:
- 3.2L 24V VVT V6 Engine - output of 165 kW (224PS)/6200rpm, maximum torque 284Nm (29.0kg m)/3500rpm.
