Hi all,

An upgrade to our GV would be nice too

The easiest things to buy and replace without any conversions are the front grille, front bumper and wheels. The side mirror with side turn light should be easy to install, but the existing side turn light on the fenders (for non US & Canadian GV) would have to be removed and painted over.

The hardest parts would be installing the rear disc brakes, as well as the new digital aircon and instrument gauges. Maybe you guys can sell your GV, and buy the new one with new engines

I am happy with my 2.0 GV, the look still rocks!!

I prefer a more fuel-efficient engine, and 2WD option though, due to rising fuel prices.

Hi all,

I have noticed that Toyota, Subaru, Mazda, Mitsubishi, etc. now use LED for their rear lights, as well as HID for high/low beam headlights and front fog lamps.

I wonder if the 2009 GV will follow the current trend.......

People try to get "Grand Vitara" emblem in Japan as I found this from Japan’s Yahoo auctions site!

I thought I am the only one who tries to replace "Grand Vitara" emblem with "Escudo" emblem!

I have ordered and get one "Escudo" emblem through the Suzuki dealer in Taiwan last year. Here is the "Escudo" emblem part number 77841-65J00-0PG and try your dealer to see what they can do for you!

Just a suggestion; maybe you can contact those Japanese Escudo owners. Since they are looking for a GV badge, you could offer to trade your GV badge in exchange for their Escudo badge. Only cost would be registered mail, with a shipping tracker.

Hopefully some are willing to swap, so that you can send them your GV badge in exchange for Escudo.

Nice idea i work at a suzuki dealer if there is a member here who wants the GVT emblem i have them i will exchage it for the Escudo emblem..
