I saw some different GV the other day in Taiwan; I guess might be the 2009 GV!

The different items outside as I can tell:
1. Grill

2. 4 disk brake

The different items inside as I can see:
1. AC control panel

2. Combination meter

3. AT POWER

Can not see photos?

Some minor cosmetic changes are also planned.
Hope we can get some pictures soon.
I guess Suzuki decided that they had to do something since the anemic 2.7L V6 sucked too much gas while offering no more performance than a V4. I concur with this move by Suzuki since people are no longer willing to purchase a SUV in the "compact" class that only gets 18-19 MPG in the City and 20-21 MPG on the Highway. I have a full size Ford F150 Super Crew cab and it gets similar gas mileage as my compact GV! I also think that Suzuki needs to offer 2WD mode at the touch of button versus a full time 4WD that just sucks more gas. In real life driving, it has been my experience that full time 4WD consumes fuel more than 1 or 2 MPG of a comparable GV with 2WD as noted by EPA.

Other than that, My 06 Luxury GV w/ 4WD is about to hit 20,000 miles and not a single problem so far other than the automatic transmission hanging periodically in second gear. Don't know what causes this other than it does it about one or two times a day then works fine. I also received a recall notice from Suzuki that my automatic transmission can fall out of parking gear intermittently and to schedule an appointment with my local Suzuki dealer. Never seen this problem as the shifter is gated but will mention to my dealer during next service.

Hi linsjeffrey,

Welcome and many thanks for sharing photos of the 2009 GV in Taiwan.

Interesting digital aircon and instrument gauges. Externally, the new front grille and wheels design seem to be able to fit into our current GV, if we want to upgrade the exterior of the GV

Cheers,

GV real SUV

Please post photos when you can, I am curious on the side view mirror with turn signal lights, new wheels, etc.

Cheers,

the AC looks exactly like my 08 US model. Not sure about other places but in 08 the US models have the digital AC.

the display in the speedometer is interesting.
