Luchobe,

If you have the white socket on the back of your stereo, then my cable will work. Based on the photo, I believe it should.

Cheers,

Tim

Default CD Random

Hi all! Yesterday I was driving the GV and my ipod ran out of charge, so I decided to pop in an MP3 disk. To my surprise, this radio has no shuffle or random button!! I was a real PITA to have the disk reset to track 1 (out of more than 100) each time I restarted the car, and then have to always skip in the same secuence! Furthermore, sound coming out of these MP3 files (which play beautifully on my PC) was very sub-par, no matter how much I adjusted the bass/treble. I will state again that it is a TERRIBLE stereo system that Clarion has supplied for the Grand Vitaras.

You must have a problem with it. Yes there is no shuffle, but at least each time I restart it, it continues from where it was left. I don't have sound degradation compare to my PC, sure it hasn't the speakers of my home sound system, can't compare that.

Default Thank

I want to thanks all of you that provide the info to make the AUX cable or connector on the Suzuki without it for listenning electronic players.. They sell that connector for 60$ canadian here and it was a 0¢ cost if you have some electronics garbages in your closet.

For the connector, I used an internal USB that fit on PC Motherboard

Ok, it don't fit, but I cut it whit a Dremel cut off disk on the side that one hole is missing and after the cut, it fit like a papa in a mama.

For the wiring, we have to jump trigger 1 and 2 with a 1.5K/Ohm resistance

the color code is brown, green, red, silver

For the 1/8" connector, the left channel is always in the center on the soldering side, it's the tip at the other end.

Same thing if you prefer to put a female one and make a hole beside the radio just like in the 2010 model.

A special thanks to TimMcabe and onglipo to help our communities to bypass a stupid 2000's years engeneers decision or financial departement ?

Hope that can help.

Built cable per pinout shown. Have a CLC15 in an 09. RH channel is low compared to LH. Will attempt to find cause. May reverse Gnd and RH.
