Default My Aux Cable - From Panama

Hello everybody, I'm new in this forum I'm from Panama and I bought a GV 08 last year. I was wondering how I could add a Ipod, Mp3 or other audio device to my stock audio system until I found this guide in this forum. Today I dicide do it and is faster and easier follow the steps of this guide.

I got my aux cable for $5 dollars using a smaller 4 pins PC conector from a old power supply that I had and other of 3 pins from an alarmn kit that I had installed in my prior car. I just paid $3 for the 3.5mm jack and 50 cents for a resistor and 50 cents for the elictrical tape and it works perfect.

Thanks to Griff, Onglipo, Tim, Gonza and all the guys that help on this great guide. I save $120 box, thanks guys.

P.D. sorry for my bad english... Ahhhh Josesaino you are right interchanging the ground and left channel the sound quality is better!!!... Thanks a lot to all of you!!!...

Eddie, could you possibly show us in a diagram how the pins should be conected?
There's a picture in the link below that shows it, but I'm not sure if it's right.

Thanks in advance.

Default Aux Input instalation

Hi everyone, i just finished installing the aux cable in my swift. I had to remove the radio to do it. I just want to leave a little tutorial to do it.

I used 2 small 4-pin connectors (using pin connectors for computer motherboards) and soldering a 1.5Kohm resistor between trigger 1 and trigger 2 according to the diagram. (connection diagram.jpg). This connection works for the swift, there is another picture in the blog but that didn't worked for the swift.

For me it was difficult to connect the cable to the radio without taking the radio out of the dashboard. To remove the radio just remove two screws, one at each side of the radio. (picture1.jpg)

Then you just have to push really hard to take it out, it has four "staples", i'm not sure how to call them, one in each corner that makes really hard to remove the radio.

That's all you need to do, it works great, just push the CD button twice to select the AUX input.
