Interference. Why? Do you have "issues"?

Gotta' figure out if it's no fuel or no fire first.

I assume that you've tried to start it. (edit: I see now that you have). How does it turn over?? With intermittent / odd cranking speed & sound, maybe even mechanical noise? IF so, probably out of valve timing (chain issues) and stop where you are at (for now).

IF it turns over normally...I'd suggest a shot of ether in the intake. IF it runs, you've got a "no fuel" issue. IF she doesn't run...no spark or flooded condition and we can go from there.

I've seen them in that scenario where the injectors leak by dumping excess fuel into the engine and a bear to restart after sitting, ESPECIALLY if the vehicle was put up before fully warmed, and the engine thinks it's in cold start mode while sitting there.

IF you feel that the engine turns over correctly / normally and a shot of ether doesn't immediately fire it up, consider it flooded. Gas to the floor, don't pump it and crank, crank. It will eventually start, shake, rattle and roll, clear out any mosquitoes and then settle out.

Then I'd suggest a leak-down style of compression test on each cylinder to see if the valves are in time and not bent.

90K is rather little for chain probs though, UNLESS the engine suffered from high mileage oil change intervals and / or very short repetitive trips.

It's either that and go "all in" and rip off the front timing cover and inspect.

There would be two angles to take.

1. A visual inspection for apparent broken or damaged components.

2. A run through re-timing of the components to determine if everything is in spec.

But the timing won't change unless there is something catastrophically amiss, that should be obvious in the initial inspection.
