Unhappy

This light just came out on my 2002 95K XL-7. First, car is vibrating when cold. After 5-10 minutes vibration disappears. Talked to my Buddie, he is a mechanic, will do diagnostic this up-coming Saturday. Will let know what it is.

Fouls alarm. I changed my spark plugs two weeks earlier and we found out that connection was bad causing vibration and warning light. Connection was fixed and warning light reset. It cost me $20. We did diagnostic first but his computer could not communicate with my XL-7 for some reason. I have no clue why. So, the moral is – if you did some repair and something is not working after that, review what was done first, that could cause the problem. I hope it make sense.

Default Service Engine Light - ALDL connector?

My service engine soon light came on on my 2002 XL-7. I went to Autozone to see if they could do the diagnostic on it, and the guy who worked there couldn't find my ALDL connector to even plug the diagnostic machine in....Hello? Is it hidden? Anyone know where it is??

It is above the accelerator pedal up under the dash board you need to feel for it or stand on your head .

I also got the service engine light come on last week and took it in to Suzuki and was told it is a bad O2 sensor.. ours is a 2006 with only 35000KM.. this is quite scary to me... wondering how this truck will hold up after the 60000km warranty runs out!!!!!!!!!!! Also, we had the problem with remote not working at times and now the dealer is replacing the rear gate door switch... waiting for the parts to replace both the same time!!!!

Default OBDII code reader

A good investment is a OBDII code reader . It will save you the diagnostic charges at your dealer. Most sensors can be replaced by "self service" and the service engine soon light can be turned off and reset.Do not worry your self to death these so called safety features with the warning lights etc are mostly minor things. Even a gas cap not screwed in all the way can make it go off.
