Default Interchangeable Parts between Grand Vitara, Vitara, and Tracker

Hey Guys,

My name is Navis. I am new to the forum. Im sure this question has been answered before but I cant seem to find it. I am wondering if parts can be interchanged between 2nd gen (1999-04) GV, Vitara, and Tracker. I have a 99 GV that requires a gas tank and steering rack replacement/rebuild, and some exhaust work.

Are parts between the GV and Vitara 2dr/4dr interchangeable?

Are parts between the GV and Tracker interchangeable?

Any info would be great. Thanks.

Default Yes, some items are interchangeable, even w/the Tracker

Your best bet is to look up the items under all potential models and see if the part numbers and any particulars are the same, like at...
RockAuto Parts Catalog

Another way to do it is to contact a Suzuki Dealer.

Yet another option is have your local Auto Recycler look in their copy of the Hollander Parts Exchange manual.
