limp mode gone..but another problem comes up....
while driving on bumpy road the engine dies...and difficult to restart.no codes appeared.
rpm jumps from rev position to zero from slight vibration when hitting pothole but returns normal after the pothole when vibration stops, it was as if the key was in an off position for a tenth of a second. any idea.
i assume there is a electrical harness loose or somthing....could you direct me where do i start troubleshooting, or any idea of what it might be........sorry for any grammar mistakes..
2nd assumption air in fuel system during bumpy rides...Fuel is half tank.

Time for the wiggle test.
With engine running, wiggle every connection you can get your hands on, if there is a loose or poor connection you should see the manifestation of your problem. Once you have located the poor connection, open it up, spray in contact cleaner and insert and extract the connection to clean contacts, apply some dielelectric grease and secure the connector.
Caution, engine running, keep hands and clothes away from moving parts.

Yeah, if you're not getting a code for this it's most likely overall flaky power to the ECU, etc.
I would agree, wiggle test is the easiest way to find this out, but in particular tap the double relay assembly with a screwdriver. I think that's where you will find the problem is. It's on the right side of the engine compartment in my car, but yours is very likely in a different spot.

wiggle, tap, every single connector and relays i could put my hands on. somehow my car is running really smoothly today....no error codes no power loss...before and even after doing the test above.
even doing a little bit offroading while driving back from work, hoping that the engine will fail again...but nothing happened...
perhaps my car is haunted.....hahaha
thanks guys......i'll reply to this forum if it starts to haunt again..
One thing that's missing in your posts is how you have managed to resolve all these issues you have asked about. For the benefit of others who in the future might find this thread in a search, and to save myself and other from needless repetition, could you kindly list the items you have repaired or replaced?
Thanks,
Kiwi

i couldn't say that have resolved any of the problem i have posted. i have not replaced any parts or component. i just follow the information that is in this forum and start troubleshooting as per instructed by members or manuals that have been posted. after resseting the DTCS, disconnecting and reconnecting the connectors of the sensors and component terminal, and even by just trying out some fuel treatment and injector cleaners. tried freezeframing but couldn't catch the fault at the same or nearly the same conditions,i think this is call intermitent fault. . funny to say after doing all those, everything is back to normal driving conditions for now. and i know the problem will be back in these few days/weeks.
Most cases when you open and close those connectors it wipes the corosion off the blade contacts, clearing up the intermittent. I would do another round of opening the contacts, this time spray some contact cleaner/conditioner into the fitting.
Routine maintenance like this can keep you out of trouble later, especialy if you off road in wet conditions.
