Timing procedure for H27A

Can anybody help me on this issue.

I have a Grand vitara V& from 1999. And i Buy the car with the timing chain out

Should I position the ner 1 up and ner 6 down, beeing firing on 1 and end of admission on 6 ?

If any one can help me on this I will apreciate

Hello Faria!

Sounds like you've got a mess to deal with there. Can't help but wonder why one would start the job and quit it and sell. Doesn't sound good buddy.
But maybe the previous owner just gave up.

IF you decide to go in there, I'd highly recommend having the "manual" beside you. Lots of timing marks and stuff to get lined up just right. It's rather involved to just try and talk you through it.
