Angry oxygen sensors

Hello
Im new to this forum, am in-need of some help. I need to install two oxygen sensors on the drivers side of my 1999 GV. Im using Bosch universals. Getting the sensors out doesnt seem to bad, but the electrical connectors are a nightmare! Any suggestions will be well appriciated.

There is no easy way to get those connectors apart. Do you HAVE to remove them in order to splice in the replacements?

Here is a thread or two worth seeing and I can show you some close up pics of what you are up against to maybe help you plan your attack. I disconnected mine from UNDER the vehicle. Going in from above didn't look any easier to me. I slipped in a thin / small screwdriver under the connector tang (one on each side too!) to disengage them. Took a while, all by "feel". It's a PITA.

Thanks fo the info, the pictures are great. This will definitely help. Im using Bosch universals Ive heard some negatives, but the cost of o.e are ridiculous. What do you think?

I think you'll be fine with generics.

Let us know how it goes.
