My check engine light was on at the beginning of September but I blame my brother for that. Whilst borrowing my car, he left the gas cap at a station and drove around for 4 days with no gas cap. The check engine light came on, he then put a used much older gas cap on that he found at a gas station. So when I retrieved the car, I replaced the gas cap and the check engine light went off after a couple of days.
The car was sitting for awhile before starting. About 2 weeks. But like I said, it's always been taking a few extra turns to start. Also, I have a K&N cone air filter on in place of the OEM filter.
I will get a code reader and check the codes too and post what I find.
