Damn your right, the CMP is not a cvvt unit. Dont know what made me think that. But the CKP sensor is behind the bellhousing. I'm looking for maf readings like in lb/hr, I have the timing at 6-8 degrees at idle via my Innova scanner. It's running rich and just today it thru a rich code as soon as it when into closed loop. But all this seems to be intermittent, as one minute my fuel trim is at -18 then back to 0. Did'nt want to move the CMP sensor yet, I bought this car not running because of a spun bearing so I just assumed everything else was in the proper spec so I left it as is. Only thing I can guess why it's running rich intermittently is because of a bad maf reading, it reads .300-.350 lb/hr at idle and maybe it's reading high.
I know I was being a bit rude since i'm new and I apologize. It's just that this engine has been out for 10 years and I thought for sure people on here would automatically know technical stuff like this, Or have a good idea.
