Ah, yes, the old rear wheel anti locking brake system. <rant>. I suppose it was designed primarily to prevent yaw or oversteer under severe braking conditions, but for some reason it doesn't work as advertised. I cannot induce it in the wet or snow (2wd mode of course); all wheels lock under maximum braking. The only way I can repeatedly induce the RWAL system is by threshold braking in the dry. However, if you lock the fronts in the dry, there's a good chance you'll lock the backs too thus defeating the purpose of RWAL brakes. It would have been nice if true 4 wheel ABS was an option for the earlier 2dr models. </ rant>
