I had a guy do it.. The 07 Outlander I had I did myself. The difference is that the wiring harness was intact on the outie where as, the XL-7 was limited to wiring.
Putting in the radio is one thing, the adapters are another..
1 for steering wheel controls
1 for interfacing the CAN to the radio (helps keeping Chimes too.
Stuff like that
