97 vs. 95 Crank position sensor
Hey everybody,
I just put a 95 1.3L 4cyl motor into my 97 swift as I was led to believe was okay. Everything was okay until hooking up the last thing on the wiring harness, which was the crank position sensor plug. The 95 engine does not have the sensor.
My question is simple. If I just leave the plug dangling, will the engine run okay or will it screw everything up and run like a dog? If it shows an error code when a scanner is put on, i don't care, I just want it to run proper.
