there is no pin in front, (may be in back, IIRC but NOT front or there are 2 F/R)
after all , any dumb thief would just smash cover and then pull pin,
they are easy to pull with practice.
i just had my 91 , new cyclinder , installed.
steps:
1: make steering wheel puller ( 3/16 min flat bar stock and 2 holes, ) out it comes.
2: next remove the headless bolts ( yup) use tiny chistle and tap CCW , out they come.
3: loosen bottom 4 bolts in firewall steeing column casing plate (dont take em out)
with all clamps losse, the column drops.
now unplug what needs to be.
now pull switch assembley off collumn.
4: off to lock smith.
i replaced my headless (Suz sells them with heads that snap off)
with allen extra hardened metic screws.
that is my story , hope it helps you.
my lock was dead on one of the key sides.
