1 fix leak ( solve problem first not the symptoms)
2: fix carpets.
3: put in plactic (or rubber ) mats. buy the ones for huge American PU trucks
and cut them down for perfect fit in front floor boards.
so they curve up on all sides. making a Lake.
this greatly helps.
oh, and this happens on all cars ,not sidekicks.
