ok what gears are in the axles now? also the tcase is around 2:1. I have 5.125 gears in my axles now and I was running 31" bfg mud terrains but when i got two ltb swampers for the back I could not turn them too much tread that was digging for it to turn the tires enough to do anything so i bought a 4.25:1 tcase reduction kit. now in 4l and trans in drive I go 15 mph at 4000 rpms so I am to low of a gear now. so I would have to go with a higher gear in the axles to get more speed to rpms. So if you go with a mild 31" tire that will work for on/off road use then you should be ok with stock gears but if you have the 4.62 gears in the axles you might be to high for offroad if you get in the mud alot but just trail ride then you should be ok there. so to find out what gears you have we need to know the year make 2dr 4dr auto manual trans stuff like that then we can determine what gears you have. for the most part I have only seen the 4.62 and 5.125 gears but thats in my area and it will depend on where in the world you all. hope this helps
