here is more progress:
shiny cylinder walls which I was pleased to see
I measured these to spec with micrometers, and again to my delight, they were all to spec within +/-.002.
some of the rod bearings were pretty scuffed up, and will be replaced.
and since this is my first rebuild, I am open to any opinions and ideas that could help me in the end. thanks
