Ok so I tried all of that above. Still can't get it to stay. I even pulled the hub assembly off to have better clearance. What I did notice is that when it’s not attached to the hub .it will go in completely but if I give it a good tug it comes out. I feel like it’s going past the clip. But once I put it all back together the axel pops out. Could the alignment shop of messed up and set the wheel too far out or do you just think it’s a faulty clip? Also it’s the original axels and a used 3rd member. The 3rd is out of a 96 5 speed.
