That seems an accurate description.The best thing is just to try it.
Thats what i did for the first time ;-)
As you said dont remove the brake lines.Its the only thing you can do that can make it go wrong.
Beside that you could buy Haynes manual or something like that if you really dont feel that confortable to do it.Its not that expensive and its worth it.
