just 3 issues
1: a good mount, that wont cut in the rad cores like some do. (crappy tie wrap mounts)
2: a nice thermo sensor to fit and be reliable.
3: Pick a Power source. (2 ways)
2a: the funky ones, that clamp to outside of a hose are bad.
2b: they have new ones that are pipe section that you insert into the Cab heater core line , on the hot input side, not return
then set it to 215F or about and your are ready to go.
connect feed power to a fused line directly to battery if you want it to cool after shut down (as new cars do) or an inline fuse to the cig lighter (easy to get to and connect up and is fused for 16amps and is Ignition switched.
remove old fan, stack some extra washers and put the nuts back. on water pump.

PS: if you have AC consider an override for if AC gets poor. (for you desert bunny's and fox's)
