for the sake of $200 i bought the cnet ipod adapter and it works fine, the only problem was i couldnt find a suitable spot to mount the control box for it, but the cable was long enough i ran it under the center console trim and stuck it behind my sub under the drivers seat then ran the cable from the box back up the console to where the shifter trim joins the dash trim and into my ipod touch....
the ipod never moves except to change the play lists...
volume is a bit sad (33) considering the setup and the factory clarion sub, and a cd is much louder.... a cd at 25 would be equivilant to the 33 through the ipod aux. its enough to annoy the neighbours.
