94 Escudo acceleration problem
First time in these forums and I'll likely be in need of more lay-man type explanations than master mechanic rhetoric since I've not had much experience with more involved solutions to auto problems.
Wife recently purchased a 94 auto Escudo.
The car hesitates and slightly lurches on light acceleration in 2wd. Problems cease around 30-40kmh and car runs well. I have not tested the car in 4wd. Heavy acceleration in gravel doesn't result in the same problem.
Please let me know any suggestions, solutions, or other simple tests you'd like me to do and I'll get back with observations in a timely fashion. Much obliged.
