A judder or shake at a certain speed would indicate a balance issue, if your car could go faster I usually find a second area of shaking at higher speeds if the wheels are not balanced correctly.
A warped disc would normally only give real judder when the brakes are applied.
I would not take the fact that you have just had the wheels balanced, I have seen tyre shops do some very dodgy things in the past.
When I got my Kumho LR71s, I fitted them myself and they did not been any balancing, remoulds on the other hand always do in my experience.
